Goal Celebration

A well-deserved three points was the reward for a 7-2 victory away to Shefford and Sandy by the Ladies’ 1s last Saturday.  At home the Men’s 3s also scored a convincing win over Luton Town, comng away 6-2 winners.  The Men’s 6s continued their unbeaten run this season with a 4-1 win at Southgate and the Men’s 4s also won 2-0 at home to Royston.

However, the most celebrated win of the day is probably reserved for the Men’s 1s who defeated Wisbech Town 2-0 to earn three points to put them firmly in the middle of the league table.  After 6 matches they have 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats.

Both second XI teams earned a point in their respective games.  The men faced Bourne Deeping and finished at 3-3 and the ladies were at home to Luton for a 2-2 sharing of the points.

Unfortunately, the Ladies’ 3s will want to move on quickly from their 0-5 defeat at Aylesbury.  The Men’s 5s lost 0-2 to Shefford and Sandy and the Ladies’ 4s were beaten by a goal to West Herts, finishing 2-3.
