Ladies match action

The Men’s 1s continued their current good form by scoring eight goals in front of a home crowd as they dispatched visitors Felixstowe 8-2.  Three goals from Adam Wells and one apiece for Paul Buckland, Richard Julian, Tom White, Richard Middleditch and Rob Donald provided much to cheer the home crowd.

The home advantage also favoured the Men’s 6s, who put six past Luton Town without reply and the Men’s 4s, who beat Shefford and Sandy 2-1.  The Ladies’ 4s travelled to Bedford and brought home 3 points from a 2-1 win.

The Ladies’s 2s won a point from a 1-1 draw with West Herts and the Men’s 3s also finished level at 2-2 against West Herts.

However, there were heavy defeats for the Ladies’ 3s, who lost 0-5 to Broxbourne, and the Men’s 2s, who were beaten 2-6 by Shefford and Sandy.  The Men’s 5s were 0-3 losers to St Albans and the Ladies’ 1s lost out to just a goal, losing 0-1 to Brentwood.
