There were just three Ladies sides playing this weekend as most of the club sides were already on the long Christmas Break.

The Ladies’ 2s hosted St Albans and were very pleased with their first win in five games as they sealed the three points with a 3-1 scoreline.  This result puts them firmly in the middle of the Premier Dvision table going into the break.

The Ladies’ 4s were also on winning form as they notched up seven consecutive wins with victory over Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead at home with the only goal of the game.  They remain third in Division 4 by eight points and just a single point behind the joint leaders.

The Ladies’ 3s visited ‘bottom side’ Harpenden, but came home on the wrong end of a 0-2 scoreline to end a frustrating first half of the season.  Four draws and just one victory leaves them in the relegation zone with a lot of work to do in the second half of the season.

That’s it for 2016.  League fixtures for 2017 commence on 7th January with three Ladies games and the rest of the club pick up their sticks on 14th January when we have SIX home games to enjoy.  Why not come on down to the pitch and support the Blues?
