The Men’s 1s hosted table-topping City of Peterborough and took all three points with a 3-1 win. The Men’s 2s went to Norwich and drew 4-4 for the point. The Men’s 3s and Men’s 4s both played teams from Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead with the 3s losing 1-2 and the 4s winning 3-2. The Men’s 5s beat Stevenage 3-0 and the Men’s 6s secured promotion from Division 8SW with a 9-1 victory over Hertford; scoring their 100th goal of the season in the process.
The Ladies’ 1s ran out 3-0 winners over Harpenden, but the Ladies’ 2s suffered a 1-6 defeat to Saffron Walden. The Ladies’ 3s were even more soundly beaten by Cheshunt, scoring just one goal to Cheshunt’s 11. Finally, the Ladies’ 4s played out a goalless game against Welwyn Garden City for a point.
P.S. On Sunday, the Men’s 6s played a “slip date” game against Harpenden and kept their perfect record going with a 4-3 win.
