The Men’s 3s travelled to Harpenden on Saturday and came home with 3 points and a clutch of goals, winning 6-1.
This was just the cream of a wealth of victories for the Blues this weekend as 7 sides won their matches and only two lost.
The Men’s 6s continued their impressive unbeaten streak with a 3-1 win over Luton Town at home in the drizzling rain and fading light. The Ladies’ 3s hosted Broxbourne just before that game and won 2-1 in front of the home crowd.
The Ladies’ 1s played St Albans on the home pitch earlier in the day and won a tight 7-goal game 4-3. The Ladies’ 2s were also 1-goal victors as they visited Luton for a 3-2 result and 3 points. Making a clean sweep of Ladies Section success, the Ladies’ 4s went to Hertford and put three goals past the hosts without reply.
The only other victory across the club was a 3-1 win over Potters Bar for the Men’s 5s, bouncing back after last week’s heavy defeat.
The Men’s 1s went to Bedford for a hockey lesson from a superior side that scored 7 against the Blues without conceding a goal. The Men’s 4s lost to Potters Bar at home in a 1-4 game and the Men’s 2s were held to a 2-2 draw against Bedford on home turf.
