On a cold and frosty Saturday the ladies in blue posted some great results, including a 3-2 victory by the Ladies’ 1s in a key points game over local rivals Letchworth in front of a noisy home crowd.  The Ladies’ 2s thumped Stevenage 5-0 and the Ladies’ 4s put 6 past Broxbourne for no reply.  Unfortunately the Ladies’ 3s were not able to join the goal-fest party due to a postponed early pushback on a frozen pitch.

Only the Men’s 5s were able to bring home 3 points for the Men’s Section, with the Men’s 1s and 4s gaining single points for a draw.

As the season heads towards its conclusion we have a number of sides battling relegation.  All men’s sides apart from the Men’s 3s, who top Division 4SW, could still drop down.  The Men’s 2s are in a real fight with 6 teams seperated by 3 points near the bottom of Division 2S.

In the Ladies’ section the picture looks much better.  The Ladies’ 4s are holding on to second in Division 4 and the Ladies’ 2s are third in the Premier Division.  The Ladies’ 1s go into 4th in Division 2SW, above Letchworth, and the Ladies’ 3s remain solid in the middle of Division 2.
