On another Saturday when the weather froze off a number of games those hardy souls that braved the sub-zero temperatures managed to pull in the points for Blueharts as the season tried to come to a close.
The Ladies’ 1s maintained second spot in Division 2SW with a good 3-0 win over East London and a victory for the Ladies’ 4s over Rickmansworth also keeps them in second position in Division 4. The Ladies’ 2s won at home to Leighton Buzzard and that 4-2 scoreline keeps them in 3rd place in the Premier Division. the Ladies’ 3s did not get a game, but sit comfortably in the middle of Division 2.
The Men’s 3s are already promoted from Division 4SW and the Men’s 2 drew with Wapping, but remain in 4th place in Division 2S. The Men’s 6s were frozen out and have 3 games left to keep out of danger in Division 7SW. A good win against Cheshunt for the Men’s 5s puts them three off the bottom in Division 5SW, but the Men’s 4s could not win any points over Winchmore Hill and Enfield so remain in danger towards the foot of Division 4SW. The Men’s 1s were denied a trip to Saffron Walden by the weather, so still prop up Premier A.
