Blueharts had a “good day at the office” on Saturday as the club bagged nine wins and just two losses. This included a tremendous first win of the season for the Men’s 6s at Bedford Vets and a 7-0 victory for the unstoppable Ladies’ 3s, who are second in their division and only three points from the leaders.
The Men’s 1s beat bottom of the table West Herts and are in the mix in a tight mid-table battle now. The Men’s 2s got their first win in four games to sit eighth in their table and the Men’s 4s and 5s both had victories by just one goal. The Men’s 7s are in third position after winning four of their last five games, but the Men’s 3s suffered another heavy defeat.
The Ladies’ 1s suffered a rare league defeat (their first this season) as visitors from Maidstone ran in eight for only four in reply. The Blues are fourth and still very much in contention. The Ladies’ 2s are now five points clear in ninth place after a single goal victory over West Herts and the Ladies’ 4s are bouncing back after a poor start to the season with five wins from the last 6 games to hold on to sixth.
