The Ladies’ 5s travelled to Welwyn to play a fixture that was cancelled earlier in the season and came home with three points from eight goals without reply.  They sit in second place in their division.  The Men’s 2s were in simlar high spirits after a 8-1 win over a side just one point higher before the game.  That makes three wins in a row for the men.  The Men’s 7s are now unbeaten in 6 games and are placed second after a good 5-0 victory at Stevenage.  The only other win this weekend was the Ladies’ 3s, who are firmly back in winning ways after a rare defeat a few weeks ago. A 2-0 result against Welwyn, repeating the scoreline from earlier in the season, keeps them top of the league.

The Ladies’ 2s suffered their first deeat in four games against higher-placed Welwyn and are now placed ninth in their league.  After three wins, the Ladies’ 4s were narrowly beaten at St. Albans, but will be frustrated at not beating the lower-placed side.  Equally frustrated will be the Men’s 1s, who also lost by a goal to a lower side and they drop to eleventh in the table as a consequence.

The Men’s 6s are also in eleventh place after a vey competitive game at St.Albans.  They were 2-1 up at half time off the back of two recent victories, but some nicely deflected goals from the home side saw the Blues lose 2-4 by the final whistle.  The Men’s 3s still prop up the division after a defeat to third-placed Stevenage and the Men’s 4s played top of the table Potters Bar to lose 1-4.

Finally, the Men’s 5s are unbeated in five games and drew at home to Potters Bar this weekend.  They are in fifth place in their division table.

There was no game for the Ladies’ 1s this week.
