The Ladies’ 6s continued an impressive winning streak by beating Welwyn 7-0.  They have not conceded a goal in the last 3 games and sit in second place in Division 5.  Hot on their heels in the “impressive win” competition was the Ladies’ 3s, who also played Welwyn and defeated them 6-0.  That’s four games without conceding a goal and 5 wins on the bounce for the 3s.

The Men’s 3s visited Hertford looking to build on their 9-0 win last week.  Well, it was 8-2 to the Blues this time and three more points in the bag.  The 3s are in second spot in Div 4SW and just 3 points behind leaders Shefford & Sandy.  The Men’s 7s brought three points home from Harpenden after a 4-0 victory kept them in second place in Div 8SW.  The Men’s 4s got their first win in three games, overcoming Bishop’s Stortford 4-2 and the Ladies’ 5s won 2-0 against Potters Bar.

It was a second draw in as many weeks for the Men’s first XI as Upminster held them to 1-1.  The Men’s 6s also came away with just a point against St Albans in a bottom-of-the-table 3-3 clash.

Five teams suffered defeat this weekend.  The Men’s 5s went down 1-4 to Rickmansworth at home while the Ladies’ 1s went to Sevenoaks for a 0-3 game.  The Ladies 2s hosted local rivals Letchworth and lost by a single goal, 1-2.  The Ladies’ 4s and the Men’s 2 both lost 2-5 away from home.  The ladies travelled to Tring and the men to Chelmsford.
