The weather hit many games across the county this Saturday as winter made an early mark.  Sterling efforts were made to prepare the pitch for a playable surface and the Men’s first XI were 2-0 up against Cambridge University when the game was abandoned after half an hour.  However, the four Blueharts games that did run to full time all ended in victory, so we could call that a 100% record this week!

The Ladies first XI travelled to Canterbury to claim their first win in three with a 2-1 scoreline.  The Men’s 2s were in fine form, beating rivals for the league title Brentwood 3-2 and now move top of Div 2S by 2 points.  The Men’s 3s were also in good shape as they beat Bishop’s Stortford 8-0 to go top of Div 4SW (ahead of Shefford & Sandy on goal difference).  The final game saw the Ladies’ 4s go to Hertford and return with the points after a 4-0 win.

Here’s hoping for a full programme of matches next week before we break for Christmas…
