As we get ready for the coming season, it’s vital that all members complete the following three steps to ensure you are registered and ready to play in September.
This is even more important this season as we navigate the requirements set out by the government and England Hockey to ensure we return to playing hockey in a safe and managed way.
Step 1 – register / update your details on the club website
Why do I need do this? To ensure you receive important information about all club matters and are registered as a club member. Please make sure your contact details are up to date – even if you’re a social member or alumni but would like to continue receiving club communications.
Step 2 – download the Teamo app, register your details and assign yourself to “Blueharts” – you can also register online
Why do I need to do this? We will be managing all junior and senior training sessions, matchday administration and match fees through Teamo. No-one can attend a training session without confirming their attendance through Teamo. This process will then roll over into matchdays, with all players as officials needing to register for each match for track and trace purposes. In the new season we will be operating as an entirely ‘cashless’ club with Teamo administering match fees.
U18 members: your parent/guardian must register you through the “Register Other/Under 18” option
Please see the Teamo FAQs or contact their support team if you’re having any problems getting registered – www.teamo.chat
Teamo is an official England Hockey app and complies with all relevant security and safety requirements.
Step 3 – complete the England Hockey Participation Agreement containing 9 quick questions
Why do I need to do this? This is a compulsory part of the England Hockey requirements to play and you will not be able to train or play with Blueharts until this has been completed.
Full England Hockey Guidance can be found on the Club website and at www.englandhockey.co.uk
