The Men’s Colts demolished Cheshunt by netting 10 goals without reply on Saturday as Blueharts posted another impressive display of results across all teams.  The Men’s first XI continued a 4-win streak with a comprehensive victory over Sudbury and travel to 12th-placed Waltham Forest on Sunday in high spirits, confident of another win to close the goal difference on East London at the top of Premier B.  (Update: They won 4-1.)

The Men’s 2s emulated the first team’s scoreline against Bourne Deeping and are clear at the top of Division 1 with a 100% record.  The Men’s 3s defeated Broxbourne and the Men’s 5s are second on goal difference in Division 6SW, following a victory over Hertford to keep their 100% record.  The Colts lead Division 8SW without conceding a goal, but the undefeated Men’s 7s are close in 3rd spot after a close fought game with local rivals Letchworth ended 2-1 in the Blues’ favour.

In the Ladies section there were two games against Letchworth, in which each club won a game.  The Ladies’ 5s came out 3-0 on top, but the Ladies’ 3s went down 1-4.  The 5s are in second place of Division 7SW on goal difference, but the 3s are struggling in Division 3SW.  Higher up the table, the Ladies’ 2s are in third spot after drawing with Broxbourne, but remain undefeated.  The Ladies’ 4s are yet to earn a point in Division 5SW, but they are scoring each week and it’s still early days.  The Ladies’ 6s hosted Leighton Buzzard to a 1-1 draw, but remain undefeated in second place in Division 8SW.

In summary, we are three weks in to the new season and nine teams are undefeated in their league games.  What a great start!
