The final week of the hockey season brought promotion glory for some of Blueharts’ ladies. Both the thirds and the fifths secured a place in the division above after clinching the required results. Congratulation to Becky Turner, Sue Donnachie, Ruth Hicks, Kate Deller, Harry Woods, Alan Middleditch, Abigail Julian, Zanie Nolte & Hugh Kenney-Herbert for completing the Mental Health Awareness Session at Blueharts Hockey Club. Gina Joseph continues to impress and delight as she racked up yet another milestone for Blueharts. She scored twice as the sixth team beat Broxbourne 3-1, the first of which was her 350th for the club. The Comet covers this achievement in more detail online here.
The ladies of Blueharts Hockey Club continue to fly the flag with another hugely successful weekend. In total there six wins out of seven, including the newly-formed over-45 team who beat Letchworth 5-0 in their first game of the England Hockey Women’s Over 45 Championship. Both of Blueharts U18 sides have secured a place in the next round of the England Hockey Junior Club Championship with seven-goal thrillers. Read more on this article on “The Comet” online .
Club Buzz, who provide the framework for the Blueharts web site, have introduced a new and improved web site template. We will be moving our content over to the new look over the next few weeks, so please bear with us as the changes happen.
